Punch Art - CHICKEN

I am getting ready for a punch art meeting with my upline where we each will bring something made with punch art.  I don't have a lot of punches so it limited what I could do, but I found this cute little chicken online and had half of the punches.  Luckily I was able to borrow the punches I didn't have from my upline and look at how cute this turned out!  Cutest little chick ever!  Love, love, love...

Paper: Whisper White, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight
Ink: Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede, Basic Black
Accessories: Wide Oval Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, small heart punch from the Owl Punch, Five Blossom Punch, Designer Label Punch, white gel pen.

Have a fun time making chickens for Easter!

Workshop Projects!

I was really busy getting ready for my first customer workshop that I had on Sunday.  What fun it was getting ready!  We only had one other person show up but that is now one more customer who seemed to have a lot of fun!  Here is what I made for the workshop...

This was the card that we made!  How cute are these bunnies from the Everybunny Stamp Set? My favorite Easter set!

This was one of the hostess gifts - a cute little bookmark!

This was another small little treat my hostess received for being my very first Hostess!  Thanks Tasha!  I can't wait for our Cards and Cocktails class!

Until next time...

Class Locations

So I am trying to book some classes for the next few months, but apparently there is no community building in the town of Clifton Park that you can use without paying for it.  I guess I will just have to wait until my classes get big enough that I need to have them outside my home.  I thought the hard thing was going to be figuring out what type of classes to hold!

Speaking of that what type of classes are you looking for?  What would you be interested in doing?  Cards? Scrapbook? 3-D projects?  Any particular theme?  Paper crafting for the men in your life?  for the children?  Leave me a comment with the type of class/es you would b interested in attending.

Also, what day of the week makes the most sense?  A weekday evening, from 6:30-8:30p?  A Friday or Saturday Girls Night Out from 7:30-9:30p?  A Sunday afternoon from 1:30-3:30p?  Leave me a comment about what day of the week you would most likely attend a class.

Off to play with my Easter stamps!  Come back to see what I come up with!  Until then...

Spring is in the air!

Spring is in the air!

Happy Spring - today is the first day of spring and boy I can't wait for all of the exciting things over the next few months!  As promised below are some wedding cards in honor of the day.  Take a peak and leave me a comment as to which one is your favorite!

Again, from my demonstrator meetings this is one of the wedding cards that we made.  I just love the polka dot embossing on the white CS and the rhinestones - the colors - Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White are just beautiful together!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this wedding card.  One of my fellow demonstrators gave this one to me.  I LOVE this card!  It is so elegant and just adorable.  I love the rhinestone and the embossing in several locations - LOVE it!

The inside was really cute too!  I love how she punched the white and black with the same punch but cut the black in half and put one piece on the top and one piece on the bottom.  Looks awesome!

I will be working on an Easter card and some other fun, bright spring projects that I will be demonstrating this weekend at a workshop.  Make sure you come back to check out what I cam up with.  Until then...

3-D Owl

If you thought the boxes from Saturday were cute wait until you see this...

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this owl box!  Now, I am not a huge fan of owls, but made out of punches - adorable!  This is another project that I learned/did at my demonstrators meeting.  I am so thankful for those meetings as they have helped me learn so much already and I have only gone to two so far!  If you love this owl as much as I do and want to learn how to make him/her, leave a comment and I will send you instructions!

3-D Boxes!

3-D Boxes! How cute are these!

So the very first demonstrators meeting that I went to had this adorable little 3-D box as one of the make and takes.  How cute is this!  I have become obsessed with boxes and other 3-D projects that can hold a small treat inside for someone special.  I would like to have a 3-D club at some point that will feature all sorts of 3-D projects - what do you think?  Would you be interested?

I took this concept above and modified it slightly with different paper and embellishments for another box special for my first workshop as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

And of course there had to be a cute little surprise note and treat inside!

Keep an eye out tomorrow for my absolute favorite 3-D project to date! Until then...

The card that started it all

This is the card that started it all!

A little over six years ago my good friend invited me to her house for a Stampin' Up! workshop.  I had no idea what that even meant, but I was definitely going. I went and completely fell in love - with card making! January 2006 my addiction began and has only gotten worse over time.

In November 2011, I decided to leave my job to be a stay-at-home mom and I knew I was going to need something to do - for me - that could possibly give me a little bit of supplemental income.  It was a toss up, actually between a few different companies, but when i really thought of it Stampin' Up! was the one.  I love the products completely.  I don't think there is anything I really don't like and I wanted to love what I was selling.  No matter what other products I used I would always come back to Stampin' Up! to make my projects the best they could be. So here I am.  Be sure to check back tomorrow for one of my favorite paper crafts - 3-D boxes!  Until then...

Welcome to my Stampin' Blog!

Hello everyone!

Thank you so much for checking out my little virtual happy place! I am extremely new to the world of blogging, etc. so please be patient with my cluelessness! I am just starting up my Stampin' Up! business and I am finding that a lot of my Stampin' Up! friends have their own blogs for their business to show their work and to post videos of some of their projects. I figured I need to get current with the times and get going on this blogging adventure as well.

I am actually pretty excited about it especially now that I have finished my logo for Sassy Stampin' Girl.  I am not really sure what I am going to say every day, but I'm sure I will figure something out.  Keep checking in for some exciting paper crafting!  Until then...
