Birthday Love?

So I know it's been a while since I posted, but a lot has been going on in my life especially with it being the end of the school year.  Yesterday was the last day of school for my children so today officially starts summer vacation for my family...where did the time go???  With it being summer vacation this will definitely be a transition time for me and Sassy Stampin' Girl business as I will have to learn to manage my business and everyone home all day every day.  To create an even bigger challenge I have added two big responsibilities to my plate...I have signed on to be a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant and I have registered for my very first Marathon at Walt Disney World on January 13, 2013!  I am super excited about both of these adventures, but my time management is going to have to get better!  Less time online and more time doing, because I also want to make sure that I am able to spend as much time with my kids as I can.

So even though I am a perfectionist and want everything perfect, I have to come to terms that it isn't going to be.  How this will affect you as a Sassy Stampin' Girl blog follower?  I am only going to take 15 minutes a day to blog, so they are going to be short and sweet and will probably be mistakes...but isn't that part of the beauty of stamping? Everything is slightly different and nothing is perfect which makes it...Perfect!

So here are two cards that I did at my last class:

This one is extremely simple and yet just adorable!  You can use it for Valentine's Day (although wait until you see the Valentine's stamps in the Holiday Catalog!!!) or you can use it for a sweet little note for someone that you care about.  Here is what I used:

The Cutest post-it dispenser...

Hello sassy stampers!  So as I mentioned yesterday I went to another demonstrators meeting on Sunday and wait until I show you this cute post-it dispenser! I just LOVE it!

Yes, that little purse with post-its coming out is made out of paper!  That is the new 2012-2014 In-Color Primrose Petal - which I LOVE! It's embossed with clear embossing powder and scored (before heating the powder), we used velcro circles to close the top and an antique brad.  Just ADORABLE!!!  I have to make many more of these for sure!

Back from Scrapbook World...

Hello my Stampin' Friends!  It has been over a week since I posted and I apologize for the unexpected delay...As you know I was working on a scrapbook which was completed Tuesday evening, but since I hadn't done anything but the scrapbook for five days I had a lot of catching up to do around the house and with my business. Unfortunately I can't show you the pages in the scrapbook as they have pictures of students from our local school, but I can show you this page...very simple and elegant but I just love it!

I used Beau Chateau DSP (Designer Series Paper) which is now retired.  However I do have one full package of the paper and about half of the notes that I am selling so contact me if you are interested.  the colors are Soft Suede (my FAVE neutral!), Pink Pirouette (one of my favorite pinks), Very Vanilla and Baja Breeze.  Miss Baird is the kids Choral Director so I tried to make sure that there were music notes on every page as you can see on the Pink Pirouette strip in the middle...so flippin' cute!  This book ended up so beautiful - I just loved it! It was a big hit with the students and especially the teacher!

I went to another demonstrator meeting yesterday and I can't wait to show you what I made there!  Make sure you check back tomorrow to see my absolute favorite thing that I made!

Scrapbook cover...

Hello everyone!  Wait until you see this scrapbook cover that I made...holy cannoli is it awesome!  A friend of my daughter had asked me to make a scrapbook for him so he could give it to a teacher on behalf of the graduating Seniors that took vocal classes with her.  Of course I will!  Well I only had two weeks to get it done and I had no supplies to be able to even start so I had to order everything and because I live on the other side of the country from where the Stampin' Up! product is shipped from it takes a week to get here.  So...I just got it Thursday night and he wants to give it to her at Tuesday night's concert.  What?  Four days to complete an entire scrapbook?  I don't know about this!

Luckily the kids won't be around most of the weekend and there are no real other plans aside from bringing my oldest to and from work and the gym (I will just postpone everything else that I was going to try to get done) so I can just work on it straight through.  I am slowly getting pictures and notes from the students, but I have a good handful to start with.  I have completed the front cover and I just have to show you.  I just LOVE it!

Isn't that just adorable?!?!  I don't even want to give it to them - I LOVE it so much!  Alright enough talking...I am going to get back to work...an entire scrapbook in four days!

Until next time...
